Binance spokesman Patrick Hillmann likes to present himself as a hologram in meetings, which played a lot into the hands of the hackers. The hackers create a deepfake hologram from existing videos.

BlueBenx is an Australian cryptocurrency company specializing in crypto loans. This company has its own token "BlueBenx" which should be listed on the crypto exchange Binance. The supposed Binance spokesman asked the company to send $200,000 and 25 million Benx to complete the listing quickly. Immediately afterwards, the hackers exchanged the stolen Benx on the Benx platform for USDT until the platform's supplies were used up.

The crypto company has lost its token again, but lost USDT worth $32 million. Shortly afterwards, the Benx Kurz went into the basement ($0.0009). The platform immediately stopped all transactions. Whether investors will ever get their assets back is questionable.
